I have wanted a tattoo for years, but wondering what and worrying about the cost has been an issue. I met a guy who tattoos locally trying to set up from home, done some amazing work and for the purpose of building up his portfolio he wants to do a koi for free(ish), I always wanted a koi, but not the normal jumping from water design, something a bit more different. This is where we have ended up so far, it will be coloured, prob red/orange/black koi and dark purple flowers we're not far away from starting will keep you (mainly benji) updated as it happens. Oh its going on my upper arm btw.
Well, before I get to the help I need, I will NOT be buying logitech mice again......bloody cheap crap (rant over)
Anyways, to the problem I have. My G9 left scroll button has decided to intermittently stop working and rather than wait for logitech to get up off thier lazy arses and sort me out a replacement as it's still under warranty (but they wont reply to emails), I have decided to fix it myself.
I have already bought new mouse feet (which I didn't get from logitech either as they only sell the bloody things to people in the USA) as I need to remove the original feet to get into the mouse and replace the surface mounted tactile button shown below...
And that is where the problem lies. I have found the button that I need online (or close enough) and they are cheap enough to buy, but am I hell as going to pay £12 shipping when the buttons only cost pennies. The reason for the high price is that they have to come from (you guessed it) the bloody USA!
So this is where you nice ppl come in . Have any of you seen these in this country for sale or know where I can get my hands on one very cheap because I begrudge paying £12 for something that might not fix it
Just over a week ago on 14th Jan I managed to snap the bolt that holds my rear dérailleur onto my bike. This happened as I was cycling uphill and almost home, and after the horrible snow and slush we experienced in Bristol at the beginning of January.
I popped into IRC and asked for some advice. spas and turd suggested I take the bike to a shop to get it sorted. I'm pretty skint at the moment, so decided to buy an identical dérailleur from eBay to get the bolt needed.
So this afternoon it arrives in the post and this evening I take my rear wheel of in preparation of re-mounting my dérailleur and find this (Spot the difference ):
my original dérailleur:
the replacement dérailleur from ebay:
As I took the chain off my bike I found some bent links. I suspect that my chain got damaged from all the snow and slush earlier in the month and eventually it's gone through the dérailleur and seized up, snapping the bolt and bending everything out of shape.
Anyways, I guess it's time to replace my chain, dérailleur and clean my bike up and keep it clean and greased. Taking the bus to work sucks I can't wait to get my bike up and running again!
